Soccer Viva Online Closed Beta Starts on December 20!

The Closed Beta of Soccer Viva Online is almost here now, and here we are announcing the date of the Closed Beta test.



The Closed Beta will begin on Tuesday December 20 th at 02:00 pm (GMT +8). The goal for this initial phase is to test our server architecture and find out if there's any bug in the game. All the data of the closed beta test will not be clear even the closed beta is ended, and will be carrying on to the open beta test.

•  Daily friendly matches --- Exhibition


Exhibition will be the most football matches you will keep in touch in the game, you can see all the other football teams' created by the other players data in the menu, and you should try to challenge them to level up you manager's skill and get your gold as your team's fund, there's will be a limited that you can only challenge with the exhibition 5 times every day.
 
•  To find out your strength level in the world --- Ladder


Ladder is kind seasonal matches calculated with Ladder match scores; every season of ladder match has 4 weeks duration and the Ladder match score will be reset as 1000 points after the season ends. Once you have join the match, the system will help you to select a opponents whose strength is similar to you, and have a match with each others, Any win or lose will cause the increase or deduct of the ladder match score of your football team. You must complete at least 3 ladder matches every day so that the system can calculated the corresponding honor according to the current ladder match scores, and you can try to hire a coach for your team or get the senior cards which are the famous football players with your honor points. Join the Ladder matches always cost you nothing so it is recommend you to join this match as many as you can.
 
•  Get challenge with the big confidence --- Challenge


In the game, if you have a big confidence with your football team, you can create a challenge with condition and challenge fund for all the other managers' team, or try to pay the challenge fund to take the challenge create by the other managers. Although you can only create one challenge each of the time, every team whose meet your challenge condition and take your challenge to win your fund or lose his fund to you. And the challenge room will be shut only if your loss meets your Stop Loss Limit. So it could be a fastest way to find the fund for your team if you have confident that your football team is strong enough.

•  Rule and defend your throne of football --- Arena


Arena is a kind of knockout matches hold on every day; you have to pay for the required fund to join this tournament. If you can win all the 8 rounds of arena matches, you will become LeiZhu who needs to defend your throne of it, and win the 50% voucher award in the award pool, every more players try to challenge the arena will award you the fund until you have been kicked from the throne. Also, join and win the every matches of arena will give you Arena Match Points, with the winning rounds and Arena Match Points you will get more award from arena. In <>, there will be World Cup too and hold on every month.
Only the top kind of teams will be choose to join this big event of the game. The match is very likely to the reality World Cup, winning the World Cup or being top 8 of the world cup won't let you earn any fund, but a more valuable award --- the legend football players like Gullit, Van Basten, Rijkaard…etc. So try hard to strength up your team and aim to be the top of the top!

•  Football style of the manager --- Talent Tree


After you have meet to level 10 and choose your career, you may get 1 talent point for each leveling up. You need to spend the points to the talent tree, which is the skill of manager, and may affect and help your team to follow your football style.

Dragon Nest: Manticore Nest Guide


Dragon Nest SEA has released level 40 patch. This means that Manticore Nest is now available for level 40+ players. Here is a guide to help all players in surviving this latest dungeon.


Stage 1: Rotten Rock Demon



The 1st stage has a relatively small area, with various rock demons of various elements appearing. Eventually, the main green demon boss will spawn in the middle.

This should be a relatively easy stage, but take note of these pointers:
1、You have to drag the mobs to the sides and kill them, if not they will be healed by the statue in the middle. The amount healed is quite huge, so the battle can be quite tough if you didn’t lure them away from the middle.
2、When the boss releases a green array on the ground, prepare to dodge away from the area. If not, the array will trap you at that position and be prepared to be hit by the surrounding mobs.


Tips
- Kill mobs then mini boss will appear.
- Lure the Mini boss away from middle statue.
- The middle statue heals surrounding mobs.
- Time stop works on mini boss but not freeze.
- Frozen still stacks for damage multiplier.

PS:Cleric’s shield block is useless here. With it active, you will still be trapped. And few hits from the mobs will remove your block in no time.

Stage 2: Minotaurs



This stage is relatively easy too. When you get in the arena, one of the gates will be opened while the minotaur inside will be charge out to attack. After a certain time, another gate will be opened and the next minotaur will be released. This will continue until all the minotaurs are out.

I would suggest to kill off the smaller minotaurs before heading for the main Boss, but if you can kill them fast enough, just kill whatever comes first.

The only special thing to note:The minotaurs can use various skills to increase their defenses, for both physical and magic. These buffs can be removed by Merc’s silence, or be lightened by other armor reducing skills like Paladin’s Armor Break.


Tips
- Try to kill as fast as possible. Minotaur Knight has buffs which can increase their damage resistance.
- Try to keep each Minotaur in their own section in case your damage isn’t enough, you don’t want them buffing each other.
- Merc can remove their buffs.
- Frozen status doesn’t work on the Minotaur Knight.
- Time stop works.

Stage 3: Medusa



Compared to the previous 2 stages, this stage can be considered as one of the harder ones.

The area is made up of 5 big squares, forming a “+” shape.

In the middle square area, you can see that there are 4 different coloured cubes stuck inside the ground, being Green, Red, White, and Yellow.

Whenever the Medusa boss raises her weapons, the screen will have a hint stating that the ground will be shifted within 5 seconds.

Then, one of the cubes will start hovering in the air.

The square area that is the closest to that hovering cube, will be the “Safe Area”. Even though you will still be damaged by the Medusa’s blade attack, this “Safe Area” regenerates your HP for 2-3 times. Your HP recovered will definitely exceed the damage done by the boss, so no worries.

As for the other 3 areas, you will be attacked by the blade attack without any regenerating heals. Paladins and SMs can use their various block skills to defend this blade attack, so they won’t need to dash to the “Safe Area”.

Be careful of this global blade attack. For female classes without good defense equipment, be prepared to die instantly if you don’t get to the “Safe Area”.


Tips
- There are crystals in the middle of the stage.
- The ground shifts when you see Medusa raising her weapons, also there is a notification count down.
- Immediately go to the crystal that is elevated, the area next to that crystal will recover your hp, much more than what Medusa can dish out.
- Tanks should maintain agro while dps take them out from range.
- Time stop works on Medusa.

Stage 4: Rock Golem



This stage consists of a huge Stone Boss, accompanied by various small stone demons.

These stone demons will not attack, neither can they be damaged if the 2 dark crystals beside each of them are not destroyed yet. Similarly, if these small stone demons are not killed, the Stone Boss will have a blue protective aura that makes it invulnerable.

So, just kill the small stone demons asap then approach the main Stone Boss.
From time to time, the main Boss will resummon the small stone demons. At this point of time, the dark crystals won’t be recreated. Simply kill the smaller stone demons and head for the boss again.

Everytime the boss resummons the smaller stone demons, various food will be created at the area of spawn. These regeneration/buff potions include HP, MP, Damage, and even rotten potions (potions that reduces your HP/MP/stats) too!

When you’re eating the food, be careful that the food is actually the fresh one and not the rotten one. Also, the boss will throw stones from time to time, and has a long range rolling attack which can be quite fast.


Tips
- Break those Dark Crystal statues.
- Pewpew mobs and then the boss.
- If you don’t kill boss fast enough, more mobs spawn.
- Those mobs drop recovery items.

Final stage: Manticore




Do you still miss the Manticore Boss from the Prayer’s Resting Place? Now it has evolved to a black demon with various strong attacks. However, it can be an easy boss to deal with.

During the early stage, the Manticore will only use several basic attacks. Only after being reduced by 1-2 HP bars, then it will start casting various power moves. When it reaches the 2nd last HP bar, its frequency of attack will increase too.


These are the basic attacks of the Manticore:

Back Tail Sweep:
The boss will simply sweep his tail and to hit any enemies at his back. Don’t ever stay at the back of the Manticore. This attack can be quite painful.

Claw Swipe: Similar to the claw swipe from Cerberus, however the frequency of attack won’t be as high as Cerberus. Just time your blink/tumble well and you should be fine.

Energy Ball: The boss will just throw a huge black ball in front of him. As long as you stay close to the boss, you won’t be hit.

Diving Attack: The boss will fly up the sky. When the boss HP is still high, after flying up the sky, it will start flapping its wings 3 times. After the 3rd flap, prepare to jump to avoid the ground attack. However, that’s not all. Several spikes will be created around the boss, so remember to use your tumble/blink to evade. You can jump to evade too. If you’re lucky, these spikes won’t hit you.

Alternatively, you can drive up your PC volume during the gameplay. When it is about to dive down, there will be a significant sound.

When the boss HP reaches 3 bars and below (to be confirmed), it will not dive down from the sky immediately after its flight. It will cast various Energy Balls to hit the ground. So please don’t blindly follow your team mates as you may die instantly from the attacks. Just move away from the balls. After this onslaught, it will flap its wings 3 times again before coming down.

When the Manticore has only 1 HP bar left, there will be some purple arrays shown on the ground before the Manticore decides to dive down, in which several flame demons will spawn and fly in some random direction. Just be careful not to get hit by them.

Front Pounce:
When the boss has locked on to one of the players, and that player is far from it, it will do a pounce like what you see in Cerberus Nest. Just blink/slide/tumble or move away.

Power Stomp: The boss will raise both of its claw high while emitting a bright glow out from the claws. It will cause an earthshake while generating 4 blade waves spreading out of him. Just jump right before it stomps the ground, followed by a tumble/slide/blink.

Black Hole: The boss will raise one of its paws at this point of time. It will emit a slight red aura while creating a black array in front of it. Just continue moving away from that array and you should be fine. ELs can use Flame Road, Warriors can dash, others can simply unstance and walk.

The damage of this skill may be quite low, but clerics have to take note. The numerous small hits will remove your Block buff in no time.

Tornado:
Several large tornadoes will be created in front of the Boss after it raise both of its paws. This time, there won’t be a glow emitting out from it. Subsequently, the tornadoes will fly outwards. It should be relatively easy to dodge. Just move away from them. The damage can be quite high.

Gravity Field: Incredible damage with superb AOE. Without a decent HP, you can die instantly from it. The boss will create 3 black arrays around him, but there will be safe areas in between these arrays. Just get to the safe areas and continue attacking.
**Take note that staying near the boss at all times is the best way to be safe.


Tips
- Does various attacks during certain life bar, all of which are pretty much straight forward to avoid.
- Manticore boss has a diving attack while its flying which is a two stage attack, it send a shock wave to the entire area and then produces spikes around it. Best way to avoid is to jupm and then Evade (sidestep, blink, tumble etc)
-While flying the boss can Cast Gravity Balls and Hurricane

-Can K.O is HP pool is low

-Two stage attack, avoid by jumping and then evading

Black Hole
-Damage is low but does multiple hits.
-Damage is only in the center
-You can run out of it to avoid

Dragon Nest: Apocalypse Nest Guide

Now that we are going to drift far from the Level 32 world of Cerberus and Minotaur, Dragon Nest brings another Nest to conquer and brag about the moment we finish it: Apocalypse Nest!

Initial reports of metallic materials were discovered in the Foothills of Black Mountain… Followed by sightings of a creature with glowing eyes moving along the shadows.

We have confirmed our suspicion…A creature of great evil is descending upon Lagendia: Judge Apocalypse.

Walk through for the Apocalypse Nest:

The white ghost sometimes acts weirdly in judgment, skills cannot hit it every time. Generally, it is easy for players to pass this stage, as long as they pay attention to getting away from the boss’ chasing eyeballs. Don’t face the boss directly, just stand with your back towards it and you won’t be hit by its chasing eyeballs.

First Stage: The ghost is afraid of light. This stage is somewhat similar to the first one. If only players are careful to the boss’ sickles, which can easily interrupt skills, they are able to pass this stage with ease.

Second Stage: 5 Black Fog bosses are waiting for you there. Deal with them along with your party members to clear this stage.

Third Stage: Your primary enemy here called the The Spirit. AOE skills may ensure that no little spirits can disturb you. If you have a priest in your party then you clear this stage facing the boss head on.

Fourth Stage: This stage consists of spiders and cobwebs, having Elemental Lord in your party gives you the edge and having a priest may boost greatly your chances of not dying. Spiders can be damaged by fire spells considerably.

Last Stage: Here you will find the Thunder Beast. The boss will bump you at first and then generate electric current. You can only avoid it when standing right in front of or behind the boss. You must get close to the boss when it takes out things from its mouth, otherwise, you will be badly injured. To deal with the boss’ jumping cleave, jump at an opportune moment in defiance of the small electric pole.

Next, it is the real smasher, the final boss in the Apocalypse Nest.

A lot of players complained that the final boss is the hardest in the Apocalypse Nest, but other bosses are easy to cope with. Nevertheless, in my eyes, compared with the previous bosses, the final boss is as weak as a dog or a cat.

The final boss’ skills generally include: roar, bomb once at a fixed location, rotate jumping cleave 3 times, surrounding laser light, rotary rays, thrust forward claws attached with 2 light rains sometimes, bomb 3 times at a fixed point and distribute paws when only 2x HP bars are left.

Bomb

This skill can deal very high damage, but it is often cast after the boss roars or thrusts forward claws. To defeat the final boss, all classes should move constantly rather than stick to one place. Don’t think you will be safe outside the pink area. This skill is determined by your position and its effective range seems strange. Even though you have a distance from the pink circle, you are likely to be hit. Therefore, move from time to time and don’t crave for more damage, or else you will be beat painfully.

Rotate

The boss will perform some actions before rotating. It is easy to avoid. The boss won’t let off its hatred to a fixed target, instead, it aims at a person randomly. Again, don’t crave for more damage, or else you will be beat painfully.

Jumping cleave 3 times

Since you go to challenge the Apocalypse Nest, certainly, the Lion Scorpion is not a problem for you. You can dodge this skill without effort. I think this skill is used too infrequently, twice at most or even never in a fight.

Surrounding laser light

Pay attention to the boss’ paws, don’t stay where its paws have gathered, because you will be hit easily. I haven’t found any prepositional actions before this skill, but it’s not difficult to dodge. Even if you are hit, you can get rid of it with a flash. Being attacked once will reduce your 2000 HP.

Bomb 3 times at a fixed point

When the final boss flies and emits pink rays, disperse quickly instead of continuing to deal damage and run in the form of A. If you are hit once, you will be attacked continuously and 30,000 HP will be lost at a time. Once again, don’t crave for more damage, or else you will be beat painfully.

    • Upgraded item from +7 and above: Gives 100% chance to obtain option scrolls

  • Each capsule (31 in total) has 2 parts: Field and Dungeon, when complete, player will be rewared “Stein Clone”
  • Stein Clone is the material for crafting Battle Mode 3 Skill Book (Stein Clone is character binding and drop not allowed)

ii) Crafting

  • Stain Clones can be obtained only from Quest but other materials / Formula Card can be bought directly from NPC Shop in Port Lux
  • There are 3 steps for crafting Battle Mode 3 Skill Book
    • Step 1 : BM3 Activate Skill and First BM3 Skill (Skill A)
    • Step 2 : Second BM3 Skill (Skill B)
    • Step 3 : Third BM3 Skill (Special Moves)
  • Crafting Battle Mode 3 Skill Book
    • The chance of success for crafting is 100%

iii) Battle Mode 3 bonus option details

  • Player can activate the BM3 Skill, if player

iv) How to use

  • Basically for every battle style, player has many-steps-for-every-cycle  which need to be cast of casting skills in Battle Mode 3
  • 1st and 2nd skill are easy to notice by different name and they must be activated as 1st and 2nd step in BM3 skill-cycle, 3rd skill can be re-cast  in the BM3-Skill-cycle
  • Battle Mode 3 consumes the same amount of SP and has the same duration/cool time/ability to stack with Aura like Battle Mode 2
  • Skills have 2 seconds of cool time
  • By using 1st and 2nd skill in special order, 3rd skill will be activated and can be cast (watch the video for more information)
  • Skill can be used like the way of Combo skill but without “Combo Bar” (aka Combo UI)
  • By using 1st and 2nd skill in special order, the synergy effect will be appeared

v) Synergy

  • By using basic 1st Skill and 2nd Skill in a specific combination will trigger the Synergy Effect, then player can use 3rd Skill (Special Move)
  • Synergy Effect will affect on all 3rd Skill (Special Move) for 8 seconds
  • Positive Synergy Effects can be stacked up to 3, Negative Synergy Effect can be stacked up to 6
  • If player keeps using the same Synergy Effect, bonus will be applied for as Damage Amplification by 1.5 or 2.0 times

8. Add “Appearance Change” System

  • The “Appearance Change” system allows player changing the appearance of their items
  • Via the Core Alchemist in each town, they can change and restore the appearance of items
  • Items required for changing appearance:
    • Target item : The item player wants to change the appearance
    • Materials: The item player want to change the appearance to and Alz
  • Duration: The appearance of items can be changed with duration:  1 day / 3 days / 7 days
  • Appearance changing can be done only between same kind of items
    • Ex) Greatsword and Daikatana can be switched the appearance (both of them are two-handed sword)
  • Items which are under the duration of appearance changing are character binding as long as the duration still be active
    • When the duration of appearance changing expires, item will be changed back to its original appearance and remove the character binding status (which caused by changing the appearance)
      • Ex) An account binding Greatsword has been changed into Daikatana in 3 days. So in that 3 days, that “Daikatana” will be character binding. But when the 3 days passes, the old binding-status of item will be restored. Means the “Greatsword” will be back to account binding.

9. Add the Quest capsule system

  • Monsters will drop new obtainable item kind : Quest Capsule
  • Certain monsters will drop Quest Capsule item
  • When player uses the Quest Capsule, the quest will be accepted can be proceeded directly
  • Add the “Quest Capsule” category into Auction Hall
  • Some daily quests will reward Quest Capsules as the compensation

10. Achievement System and Title

i) Achievement System

  • To make player’s achievements in game more meaningful, the system gives reward for every achievement which is gained / reached
  • Achievement will give the bonus like Title
    • The cumulative achievement over achievement will be ranked like the Title system
  • Depending on the number of accomplishments, achievement can have multi-level
  • Some special Achievements can be linked into chat window
  • Classification: Achievements are classified in many categories
